Part'EA, the side project where it all began

Part'EA is my side project, lighter and more direct, kept separate from my institutional art practice.

I was looking for a project that could hold together two things that pull against each other in me: a taste for the rough, the imperfect, the messy, and a need to make meaning, to open up conversation.

One day, I asked myself this question: what's universal, yet something everyone avoids talking about?

Private parts. It was obvious.

A taboo subject, often boxed in, but deeply human. It was also an echo of my own path: for a long time self-conscious about my body, I learned to accept it by discovering the richness and diversity of shapes that exist.

Part'EA is my way of laughing about it, playing with it, talking about it, of provoking gently. Making people smile, celebrating uniqueness. Colourful, without being naive.

Each piece is a shard of freedom: a way of saying you can be multiple, odd, imperfect, and simply be.

Part'EA is an invitation to dare: to laugh, to love yourself, to see yourself in someone else.
